Mark Carson

Northwest baseball head coach Mark Carson broke down the Rangers’ exciting start to conference play, including close games against East Central and Itawamba and a season shaped by tough competition, injuries, and late-game drama. Carson discussed the importance of playing clean baseball in a league where the margin for error is small, the value of an aggressive early schedule, and how his team continues to fight through adversity against some of the top programs in Mississippi junior college baseball. He also promoted the upcoming Northwest Baseball Alumni Day on March 28, when former players and families will be welcomed back to campus during the Rangers’ home doubleheader against Mississippi Gulf Coast.
